I owe my life to medicine moving forward, so progress is personal for me.
Apparently I like anything with "vibe" in the name. By the latest dictionaries I vibe-code, vibe-engineer and vibe-manufacture, which mostly means I describe an idea in plain words and a few evenings later it exists. Sometimes I write, more often I'm making something with my hands.
What are you doing right now?
Right now it's four things:
Kailash. I'm Head of Content at an institutional asset manager that bridges traditional finance and digital assets: delta-neutral strategies and structured on-chain products.
YouTube projects. The start of a network of channels for Ukrainian viewers, with the kind of content I'd watch myself. It's also where I test video for unslop.
My family's car service. Until recently it worked entirely offline. I'm leading its digitalization: websites, reviews, search and new ways for customers to get in touch.
Lviv Crypto Events. A Telegram channel that collects crypto events in Lviv, and a local community slowly growing around it, so more people in the city get to know the technology firsthand.
Where did your career start?
In fintech. In 2022 I joined W Group, the company behind WhiteBIT. By the group's own numbers, it's Europe's largest crypto exchange by traffic, with 8 million users in 150 countries. I started in support, and later became one of the two account managers who looked after every one of the exchange's international VIP clients.
I had to know the products inside out: spot and margin trading, futures and funding rates, staking, plus KYC and compliance checks. Over two years I handled more than a thousand customer requests, anything from getting through KYC to the finer points of perpetual futures. I also trained more than ten new support specialists, and set up support and product training for two other products in the group.
That's where I got comfortable with the technical side: the terms, the processes, how a product actually works inside. And where I learned that complexity should be optional.
Then our Head of Support told me straight: "You've hit the ceiling here." She was right. I wanted to grow, to put that technical knowledge to work and to do something far more creative with it. So I moved into content and marketing, and later co-founded an agency.
What are you into outside work?
Off the clock, I build what I can't buy.
When I wanted a gadget nobody makes, I ordered a board, wrote the software and printed a case for it on my 3D printer. The same printer makes parts for my lamps and whatever family and friends come to me for. The things that should only get better with age I make from wood and leather.
RFID pulls me in the same way. I buy the gear, take it apart and write my own software for a Proxmark, a pocket device for RFID cards.
I treat my health the same way too. I work on my fitness, and right now I'm building a memory system for it, so everything my body tells me ends up in one place.
Any fun facts about you?
A few:
I have a book signed by Satoshi Nakamoto. Or at least by Peter Todd, the man HBO's documentary named as Satoshi.
I turned down my dream job because of my principles on Russia and gambling.
I've shared a panel stage at Ukraine's biggest crypto conference. I've been in crypto since 2017 and working in it since 2022.
I have a master's in business, and I've given a guest lecture on crypto to Ukrainian academics.
What have you built yourself?
Two of them already exist.
Iconic Shit, a boutique mass-adoption agency for crypto projects that I co-founded. I've stepped back from daily work but kept an advisor seat.
Lamps, my own production: design, manufacturing, the website and all the code behind it. Not on sale yet.
Next come unslop and my YouTube projects, the start of a whole network of channels. Both are young, but well past the idea. unslop already has its first working cases, and the first episode of the first show is shot and being edited.
Where have you worked?
In order:
W Group, 2022–2024 · Customer Support Manager, then Key Account ManagerTwo years with WhiteBIT's international VIP clients, learning crypto products inside out. More in Where did your career start?
Bankless DAO, 2022–2024 · SMM & Content CreatorI wrote and translated pieces about DeFi and crypto for its Ukrainian community, grew its social channels and covered conferences as its media representative. It's where I fell in love with strategy. I've written dozens of strategies since, and thinking long term, analyzing and planning is still one of my favorite parts of the work.
Solus Group, 2024 · Content Marketing ManagerWorking for Solus Agency and MergeWave Capital, I got deep into both marketing and M&A. It's where I built my first websites, wrote long-form articles and case studies, wrote for the founder and managed the design team.
Eight Forces, 2024 · Content, Community & Growth Marketing ManagerIt was the height of the memecoin wave, and I worked with some of the biggest memecoins of that cycle: multi-million-dollar market caps and a combined audience of more than five million people. I grew social and community across X, Telegram and Instagram, and built content strategies, an ambassador program and brand guidelines.
Iconic Shit, 2024–now · Co-founder & CMO, advisor since July 2026A boutique mass-adoption agency for crypto projects stuck in their own bubble. More in What’s Iconic Shit?
SNRGY, 2025–2026 · Growth Marketing LeadI led product-market fit, go-to-market and growth for crypto clients such as MindoAI. It's where I first worked seriously with analytics and data science. I also managed social media and community specialists and hosted client AMAs on X. One of my community strategies there got kind words from the head of NFT at the TON Foundation.
Kailash, 2026–now · Head of ContentI run content for an institutional asset manager that bridges traditional finance and digital assets. More in What are you doing right now?
Do you invest?
Since late 2021, I've put my money where my mouth is.
A big part of my work is strategy and planning. I help people build what they believe in, and at some point backing them with my own money felt like the natural next step. In a recent interview, explained why venture is closest to what he knows. Marketing means digging into what a customer needs and building a product that solves it better than anyone else. With an early-stage startup you look at the same things, the founders and the product idea. "And that's what I've been doing for almost 30 years." I feel the same way, just with fewer years behind me.
Most of my money goes through funds and syndicates. In startups I look for tech companies whose products I'd use myself. Recently, for example, I backed a Y Combinator batch of twenty companies through the Toloka VC syndicate and invested in Inzhur REIT, a Ukrainian real estate fund.
It also makes me better at my job. I often help with pitch decks, and by now I've seen hundreds of them from the investor's side. I know what an investor wants to see and what a startup needs to show. I won't call myself a pitch deck genius. But every time I'm on the other side of a raise, fundraising gets a little clearer, for my own projects and for the clients I help.
So when I tell a founder what will work in their deck, I'm telling them what I'd put my own money on.
What’s Iconic Shit?
A marketing agency I co-founded. In December 2024, two partners and I started Iconic Shit as a boutique mass-adoption agency for crypto projects stuck in their own bubble.
We kept seeing the same picture. Projects shouted at each other on the same crowded platforms, and nobody went where their users actually were. Teams wrote content plans just to have something to post, so the project would look alive. The feed looked busy, and nobody outside crypto was reading it.
That's what we fought. We made stories and communities people wanted to be part of, and ran our clients' social like a good media outlet, not a posting schedule. That's how complex products reach people outside the bubble.
We set up the positioning, services, sales and delivery from scratch. Among our clients was Limitless Exchange, one of the top three prediction markets at the time, and during the 2026 World Cup we were its exclusive contractor. For another client we spent more than 50 hours interviewing builders to find the gaps in the market before building its funnels. We also made Aquarium, a magazine on Sui, and Mysten Labs, the company behind Sui, praised our work on it.
In July 2026 I stepped back into an advisory role. My co-founders and I saw the agency's pace and direction differently, and I wanted to focus on my own projects.
The site is still up, if you're curious: iconicshit.xyz.
Why lamps?
Picture an evening in Ukraine with the power out. I wanted a lamp for exactly that evening, and for every ordinary one too.
Warm light I can dim right down, with no flicker. Colors that stay true under it (that's what high CRI is for). A battery for blackouts that lasts over 20 hours without the light fading, and a cable for every other evening. And a lamp that's a pleasure to look at. Nothing on the market had all of that.
So I vibe-engineer my own. I design the lamps, make them, and built the website and everything behind it myself.
The site lives at shop.nazardidyk.com. Sales are off for now, because I'm still bringing the designs up to consumer grade.
Do you make videos?
Starting to. For four years I made content for other people, on X, LinkedIn, Telegram and Instagram, for clients and by their rules.
Now I'm making my own: a long-form YouTube show about things I find interesting. It's the first of many. I want to produce a whole ecosystem of channels for the Ukrainian market, each about something I care about and would watch myself. I'm making what I miss as a viewer.
It's also the first step of unslop. Before I offer production and producing to anyone else, I want to prove it on my own channels.
What’s unslop?
unslop.me is the studio I'm starting. We help businesses, brands and people get rid of online.
Feeds have filled up with low-quality AI content, mass-produced and all alike. If LinkedIn was hard to sit through before, imagine it now. People are tired of it. They spot it in a second, scroll past and trust the brand behind it a little less. Plenty of businesses and creators post with AI only because they have no time, and then read "this is slop" in their own comments.
That's who unslop is for. We make content that feels like a real person is behind it, because one is. We use AI to the full, the way a director uses a camera. The idea, the story and the final cut still come from a person.
I test this approach on my own projects before I sell it. The first was my family's car service. Until recently it lived entirely offline. Now it's going online at the speed of AI, and nothing it publishes looks like slop. Next come my YouTube projects, where I try unslop's video work on my own channels before making it for clients.
Slop will only get cheaper, and feeds will only get fuller. Soon a post that feels made by a person will stand out more than any ad budget. unslop helps you be that post while your competitors are still generating theirs.
What drives you?
Progress.
I see it in myself first. I love critical thinking and the smart people who show me where I'm wrong, because every time they do, I get a little better. I try to go to bed each day a bit better than I woke up.
I see it around me too. Technology moving forward means one person can now build in a few evenings what used to take a whole team. And medicine moving forward is the reason I'm here at all.
All of that progress was made by people, and most of them stay nameless. Nobody remembers who designed the sidewalk or the stop light, yet everyone uses them every day. When Lex Fridman asked what he hopes his legacy will be, he answered: "To be forgotten. There's ego in memory."
That's the kind of mark I want to leave. I want my work to matter more than my name. If both get remembered, even better.
What do you believe about work?
Good marketing, not “crypto marketing”.Crypto likes to treat its marketing as a genre of its own: buy some KOLs, post the hype, repeat. Good marketing works the same everywhere, and those are the standards I bring in.
Complexity should be optional, not an entry fee.In support I helped people with everything from their first KYC check to perpetual futures. Most of them needed the simple version first. So I start where people already are and leave the advanced stuff for those who ask for it.
That's also why I don't chase money for its own sake. If money is your goal, money is all you'll get.
There are a few principles I don't trade, whatever the offer.
Russia. I don't work with Russian companies or with people acting for them. I believe in collective responsibility: a war is waged not only by an army or a leader but by a whole country of people who pay for it in taxes, don't condemn it, don't give up their citizenship, and won't stand up to their tyrants for the sake of an imagined comfort.
Gambling. I don't work in it. A casino makes money when its users lose, and I want the people my work reaches to win.
Work that changes nothing. Some jobs I could do with my eyes closed and get paid well for, while the client gets nothing that matters. I turn those down. If my work doesn't make a difference, I'd rather not do it.
I've already turned down my dream job over the first two.
Have you written anything?
The most recent thing I've written is the site you're on. These days I believe in video far more than in text: I'd rather show than tell. When I do write, it's usually on LinkedIn.
If you want to read something longer from me, start with these two:
Because when you open nazardidyk.com, you most likely want one thing: to understand who Nazar Didyk is, and quickly.
What's the fastest way to get to know a person? I'd say a conversation. You ask about what you care about, skip the rest, and hear the answer in their own words.
Websites rarely work like that. People skim: Nielsen Norman Group found that on an average visit, users read at most 28% of the words on a page, and more likely about 20%. So it would be unwise of me to build a big site with tabs, sections and long pages, when you only need a few answers.
Can't find your question? Ask it anyway. I read every one, and the best become new answers here.
Kailash.
Lviv Crypto Events.
Iconic Shit,
Iconic Shit?
Iconic Shit?
Сайт: shop.nazardidyk.com.
Я запускаю студію unslop.me.
